Jeff has been CEO of Spica since August 2026. He brings over two decades of leadership experience in the biopharmaceutical industry with a successful track record in company building, business development, and fundraising across both public and private global markets. His most recent role was CEO of RNatives, Inc., where he now serves as Chairman. Prior to that, Jeff was COO/CBO at ImmunOs Therapeutics, where he led operations, business development, and finance, securing a $74 million Series B financing and helping move the company into the clinic. Jeff spent over 16 years at Argos Therapeutics, serving as CEO for over eight years and, prior to that, as VP, Business Development and then CBO. He led Argos through completion of a pivotal phase 3 trial, raised over $250 million in equity financings, including an IPO on NASDAQ, and completed numerous partnering transactions with international biopharmaceutical companies. Jeff currently serves as an advisor to Saisei Ventures, a life sciences venture capital firm. Jeff received a bachelor’s degree from Brown University and an MBA and JD from the University of Virginia.
