Anders Etzerodt

Anders is CSO and Co-founder of Spica Therapeutics,  Associate Professor of Translational Immunology and group leader in the Macrophage Biology lab at Aarhus University. His research focuses on macrophage biology and the role of disease-associated macrophage populations in cancer, fibrosis, and inflammatory diseases. Over the past decade, his work has helped establish the concept of selectively targeting disease-driving macrophage subsets as a therapeutic strategy, resulting in numerous high-impact publications and novel therapeutic opportunities.
